Rugged Construction

Solid aluminum frames are anodized for additional corrosion protection.  All screws and bolts are stainless steel.  Each leg has a stainless steel adjusting screw and two floor-anchor tie-downs which allow for precise leveling and securing of the press.

Each chilled-water manifold is made from aluminum, and drilled and tapped on CNC equipment.  The manifolds are made up of 4 sections joined by rubber flex connectors, so that each section can be repaired or replaced with out replacing the rest of the manifold.

Aluminum supports for the dropped-slab catch bars and water manifolds are also precision machined to insure precise alignment of all parts. Aluminum cross braces are precision machined to hold the frame exactly aligned at all times.  The air cylinder shaft is extra long to prevent crushing of hands when it is fully retracted.
